Pay It Forward.
I know it to be my responsibility to give back to those coming up in the culture, place and academic sectors and one way I do this is through a Pay It Forward match funding scheme with clients and benefactors.
I was fortunate enough to have benefitted from extensive Clore Leadership and funded professional and talent development schemes in the formative years of my career, and also started my career with the spaciousness that not having any student debt afforded me. The situation is so very different for those starting out now and Pay It Forward is one way I can work to mitigate that with the further support of those I work with.
Pay It Forward means an emerging talent can work with me as Critical Friend without charge. I donate 50pc fee and my clients or a benefactor matches the remaining 50pc. The match can be for one or more sessions; a person can be nominated; or the match added to a rolling fund to be used at a future date.
