Speaking Up, Digging Deeper, and a Big Thank You

In my capacity as Co-Founder-Organiser of Academic Archers, I was invited to join last week’s edition of BBC Radio 4’s Feedback to discuss recent anti-Muslim commentary directed at The Archers—and the broader questions it raises about representation, storytelling, and how Ambridge reflects the world beyond it.

A huge thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages of support in response to what I shared on the programme. These conversations matter, and it’s heartening to see so many people reinforcing the importance of inclusion in one of our longest-running cultural touchpoints.
