Contribution to International Journal of Arts in Society - museums as sites of meaning making

I’ve always loved Arts in Society conferences and one a few years back now introduced me to the phenomenal Daniel Tucker, Associate Professor and Program Director of Museum Studies, University of the Arts Philadelphia.

…and Daniel asked me to contribute to The International Journal of Arts in Society, and I was delighted to be given the opportunity to put thoughts together on social practice and museums, ‘Museums Are the Site Where Meaning Is Made, Together.’

I’m in incredible company, sitting alongside a panel with Martina Tanga, Alyssa Greenberg, Laurel McLaughlin & Gabriel Sacco, Rob Blackson, and Abigail Satinsky; letters response to the panel by Monica Montgomery, Samantha Hull ,Skyla Hearn, Esther Amis-Hughes; and essays and interviews with Solana Chetman, Adriel Luis, David Ayala Alfonso, Faheem Majeed and Abigail Satinsky, and Umika Pathak.

Read the Special Issue here; and my contribution here.
